Merry Christmas, Happy Boxing Day, Happy New Year and all that jazz! As I was thinking about renewing the domain for this blog, I wondered if I should just let it rest. However, I know this was an aspect of my life that I loved very dearly, but I had to let it descend on my list of priorities. With all of that said, I renewed it and I will post as I have in the past, sporadically. For this Wallpaper Club post, I was inspired by Katrina from Pugly Pixel to create my own calendar wallpaper for my Mac. I thought that some of you may find it useful, hence, this post! Love you all and I wish you the best in 2012!... ♥
Another one of the gems stashed in the rocks of the world wide web, GRILLADE, derived from the name of the Creole dish made of meat braised in a rich sauce with vegetables, is definitely something to get hungry about. Hailing from San Fran, GRILLADE is composed of the band, The Park, Kyle "Keelay" Pierce, and Ragen Fykes. After five years of perfecting their sound, they are now putting the finishing touches on their first full-length release, FRESH OUT OF NOWHERE. "Dream of You" serves as a sneak peak of what is to deliciously come.

Happy 4th of July! To start out the day right, I thought I would hit you with another edition of The Wallpaper Club to grace your computer screens for this special occasion. I hope you eat plenty of baked beans, hot dogs, and burgers to last you to Labour Day.
This year for my 23rd birthday, I tried to do something out of the norm and have a scavenger hunt. I made a list of tasks to be completed around my university. Everyone gave a dollar to put in a jackpot and then the team that won got the jackpot. It was a lot of fun and I had a blast with the friends that came out. This are the pics that are I managed to get in. However, I find it is a job to be a photographer and actually be a participant in the event. It takes the fun out of everything especially if it is your birthday. O wellz... Enjoy!
Now, I have been waiting to do something about this guy since I heard the Satorial Sounds video by Street Etiquette. I loved his short verse in that video and I couldn't wait to hear more. However, the opportunity has arisen until recently with the release of Melo-X's video "Heartbeat." This video has been done by none other than Dr. Woo, who hasn't failed to disappoint. Heartbeat is a cover of Quadron's "Average Fruit" and is on Melo-X's More Merch mixtape that dropped in October 2010.
Check out Melo-X @ Bandcamp & his website.
Until tomorrow... ♥
